NOBODY did it better than Piper. When he was a heel, he did it better than anyone, and when he had to be the chickenshit heel, he did it with such conviction. Playing the crowd into thinking he was going to turn face, cowering, and then proving he really was the best heel out there. Plus, he could tell a story with just facial expressions. He was the best.

It’s not fair. Some kids have hero’s that are actors, story characters or even comic books. Ours happens to be mortal. They do this damage to themselves for us. They give you what you need week in and week out. In return we give cheers, love and support. They ask us for nothing yet they give so much. If you ever hated The Rowdy One it’s because he was the best damn heel in the business. That means he did his job. If you are a wrestling fan you know that is the largest comment that can be given.
