Do you remember the first time you saw Brock Lesnar on WWE television? The first time I ever saw him was at a Feb 2002 taping of Smackdown. He was the main event of Sunday Night Heat, which they taped prior to Smackdown. He debuted on WWE tv soon after that!

I can't believe now that Brock and John Cena have almost become retired legends, like Stone Cold or Undertaker. Damn, time flies.

This is why he shook codys hand off script. He knows Cody is a leader and an actual worker not just a gymnast. WWE wont pass the torch so Brock did

Lesnar is right, todays wrestlers dont want to step up to the plate and take charge. It seems he has high respect for Cody at least and Roman

The old stars were built in the territories and independents.
Today's stars are built in the Performance Center.

he knows what's up, he knows why 3/4 of the audience left.

Paul Heyman was the mouth and Brock was the muscle.

Exactly! It’s not gymnastics, it’s wrestling. Using a million high spots isn’t telling the story in the ring.

I still remember when Undertaker said to Brock Lesnar " are you the next big thing? Or the next big bitch?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

As much as I love modern wrestling and think most of the current lineup is great, I do see what Brock is saying. Even though Attitude and Ruthless Aggression was more dangerous and you can’t do some things you used to, I do think there’s something missing in modern wrestling.

That’s why I loved his off script handshake and hug to Cody, I think he genuinely respects him and sees him as someone different, someone willing to stand up and be a leader. It was as close to passing the torch that we’ve seen from Brock so far.

He's so fucking real for this, literally wrestlers they got nowadays are too worried about producing the next crazy moment of the year or making it to youtube compilations of great moments but not much about stepping up and be the one of the greats of the company and be a locker room leader or one of them someday.
