Excellent Video my man. Great info. My only disagreement is at the end of the video you say a car can sit for 2-3 years and could be good because of low miles, however a car sitting that long is not good as it will dry up. Water pump, oil, If you have the knowledge to determine if a car is in okay shape sitting that long, then I would agree but most don't.

I am grateful for this video. I learned valuable lessons watching this video. I came on YouTube because somebody has a Toyota Camry with a rebuilt title and I told them I had no knowledge or understanding about rebuilt titles. I would check out a little longer all used vehicles if I was to buy one. Thanks so very much for sharing helpful information via YouTube. God bless you for informing people valuable information.

Great video! Do you find it more expensive to insurance a rebuilt car?

My thing was to stay away from types of damage that effects alignment. You just want the car to run straight.

Very good video William...I would like to request if you would talk about the registration process of auction salvage cars. If you would please take a look at my situation when given a chance....I'm glad I found this video....I got a car at an auction...Salvage title, runs and drives and it was only very minimal work needed done to get it at it's best condition...cost of a full maintenance service....and lots of elbow grease...labor of love was free as I did everything. To register the car, according to DMV on line base on cars VIN #...I was really surprised and couldn't believe the cost $1098 !!! Are you kidding me ? $1098 ? for a Silver 2003 Mini Cooper Base Hatchback 1.6L
Is this for real ? William, this is quite an expensive learning curve for me. I felt like I was taken advantage off by the auction place...they knew I was new at this. I feel like sueing them. There was no red flag or a note of caution like for example "If you plan on running this car...call us first" Or "For Parts Only" Who really checks VIN #'s ? They should have a designated VIN number checker in all the cars they auction off and any possible questionable information issues that the car has should be noted before auctioning off to all would be bidders Do you think I have a case ? Anyway, Is there any way around it ? For the cost of the registration to go down ? Please let me know ...I would really appreciate it Thank you, John

found a really clean evo x gsr 2011 with 45k miles, went and saw it today. makes good power (415) has bilstein suspension and many other good parts. Absolutely love it, but am reluctant about the rebuilt title. A/C doesn't work either, owner told me he has a stack of docs from the accident of 1st owner, he's driven it for 10k miles... wants 24k with wheels (TE37SLs), im not sure what to do.

I’m looking at a 2018 WRX STi Impreza for $23k. It was totaled in an accident but fully rebuilt and fixed. It had 2 minion accidents prior to the total’d accident. The man says it was fully rebuilt and fixed and runs amazing and is only trying to get rid of it because he can’t afford it anymore.

Somebody told me to stay away from rebuilt vehicles because they “make it just pass the inspections by the minimum standards” so i don’t know anymore.
