You can also get clear that dries quicker meant for buffing.But Yah can also buff regular clear.Back in the 80s when GM was still using Laquer was alot of buffing.Base clear a big game changer than Laquer and alot easier for blending !

Great video, I really needed to see this. I have sand paper like patches after using Dupli-Color then using K600 after the second coat and it felt pretty smooth. I then put two coats of Eastwood 2K clearcoat and then saw the dry patches. I used a buffer with rubbing compound and then 3000 sand paper and polish. It's drivable but doesn't look anything like yours. I know what I need to do. Thank you!!!!

There's a little black magic in painting but it"s mostly experience. You did a great job sanding and buffing that paint. It's a ton of work for sure. A few more sanding and buffing jobs like that will build a strong incentive to lay that paint down next time. Just funning with you.

just sanded my car and there are still lots of sandpaper scratches. wish I knew this video first. but it's a lesson learned

You shouldn’t be sanding straight lines you need an orbital sander to do it properly
Also your fingers leave a pattern so you’d atleast need a block
