I believe we should pray for the sick to get heal and believe in their healing but God is sovereign.

It's cruel to teach with enough faith we can be healed but this rarely happens.

When your have been sick for years, your body letting your down, you cant even participate in doing stuff with your son.
Have reading the new testament many times, have people pray for you, pray every night for healing or just improvement. Things has got worse, more fatigued, dizziness, nausea and brain fog. I have lost faith in God and that God wil helpl me finding healing, I'm tired of this torment. Why are some people allowed to live with good health, while others just need to suffer through there life. The only reason I still fighting, is because of my son, that I love so much. If God is our father and love us, why does it seems like that some of us need years and years of suffering, by this loving God.

According to your faith, be it unto you. Believe for it!

This has sadly become a divisive topic among Christians. I couldn't imagine the disciples in Acts approaching someone unsure of God's will to heal as many of us do today. It's actually unpopular to agree w/ Dr. Brown on this topic. It's more the trendy to leave it up to "if it's God's will"... Unbelievers take better care of their pets and want them healthy more than Christians think God is towards His creation! My, how far we've fallen...

I think all of our Christian community that is familiar with Nabeel Qureshi's gruesome diagnosis, have spent tears and petitions asking, imploring, badgering our Lord for his complete and miraculous victory over cancer. One day when I was feeling particularly weary and even hopeless over his plight, I opened my monthly Levitt Letter, and read a large print bold headline for the glory of our God found in Ezekiel 37:14 - *And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, * and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the LORD; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the LORD." That was all the fuel I needed. I think we're all called to be prayer warriors; that is our task.

Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Never give up! Never grow weary!

Did Jesus turn down a single request for healing in the bible? Did _he_ ever bring up any of these arguments to anyone who asked him to be healed? Of course not. And if he's still the same God today, tomorrow, and forever then this is still his nature and he heals everyone... unless, of course, these are just rationalizations for why Jesus can't heal (perhaps due to non-existence).

I usually pray for a healing, and end it with, GOD'S will be done. I've prayed that prayer for a loved one once, and I felt in my spirit GOD wanted them home. I do believe to pray for the healing regardless, but I do believe there are circumstances where a person, for one reason or another, is to live with the grace GOD gives them.

Thank you for your ministry...at the risk of sounding "carnal" would you tell me the brand of shirt you are wearing?

Sure. We pray in faith and let the will of God be done.
Amen.

Yeah, but does God desire our physical healing ultimately? Or our spiritual healing?

I would argue our spiritual state is far more important to God than our physical state (which is extremely short in comparison with eternity).

Yep, we're on the same page brother, praise God for speaking the same things: being of the same spirit. I was at a meeting yesterday and afterwards I was speaking with the pastor... sadly he doesn't believe this. Perhaps you can pray for this situation for me? I'm trying to share this revelation that God wants no man to be sick (although sometimes he permits it, it was not his will). For He hath said of himself, "I am the Lord that health thee"

Dear Dr. Brown,

Sorry if my question if out of subject, but are these books in your library religious ones ? If so, can you give us a glimpse of what they are ?

With all the faith in the world for healing, when it's time for our soul to be required of us/ death....we are going to die.
Ultimate healing is the Resurrection!!!!

No. Because we are all destined to die. If there is a reason to keep us alive longer then perhaps yes.

YES!!!! Amen!!! God revealed himself as a "healer" and he should be addressed as such, he should be proclaimed as such, our everyday-life faith should reflect that understanding.

what I'm witnessing in some cases not all, when the healing doesn't come to pass, again in some cases not all that in nature it's demonic and instead of praying for healing I'm praying that demonic entity to leave which would be the root cause of the sickness.

It was Gods will that we also live forever on earth but that plan was broken . We will not be cured of all ailments on earth by faith we will not live forever on earth by faith. Theses promise now come after death .

No, it isn't!
The will of God is this alone. He gave His only begotten Son on the cross. Look up the will of God "Thelema" in the Greek text. When one believes in The Christ he is baptized INTO the death of Christ. Romans 6:3. You can't get any closer! God's will for you has been fully accomplished. Time to rest in Christ work!
