When You Want Something BUT You Are Not Sure It’s God’s Will . . .

What should you do when you want something but you are not sure if it is God's will for you to have this thing that you want? What does the Bible say about knowing God's will? How can you know the will of God? Here are 3 things you should do if you really want something but you are not sure if it is God's will or not.

I was just asking myself this and i told God i always wanted to be a youtuber but i was afraid that starting a YouTube career would make my relationship with God slowly fall apart. I wanna do what i love but i dont want it to get in the way of Gods will for me. If being a YouTuber isn't right then take it away. I also wish the best for everyone else out there seeing this. Praise God, He just spoke to me. One way to find out if it’s in God’s will is to just TRY first & if it’s in His will IT WILL HAPPEN (my words will not return to me void) (Faith without works is dead). If the desire is not met (hope deferred makes the heart sick but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life) at least you tried and you are one step closer to hearing God’s voice more ✝️💕

Hi, I was recently praying for a job to provide for my family’s needs. I am currently a stay at home mom and trying to look for a job which would help our household. I have applied in a va company and scheduled me for a client interview. I missed the interview because I have overlooked the interview invite email. Yesterday, I received a rejection email which I accepted. Then I prayed to God and guide me if it is His will for me to be a stay at home mom or a working mom? Today, around 4:43 am I received another email saying I have been shortlisted for another client interview. I got ready and prepared my formal attire while looking at my pc and waiting for the interview, I prayed if this is your will for me, I would be very happh to accept it and if not I would accept the result whole-heartedly. And just aa I finished praying and opened my eyes, the power went off and did not come back for the next 2 hrs meaning I missed the interview again. I am extremely confused right now and would really appreciate if you could enlighten me with this situation. Thank you!

Great advice. It’s challenging not knowing if something is necessarily a “no” or just a “not now”. It’s a relationship I feel would be extremely beneficial for me and her and would glorify God, but circumstances have fluctuated between us getting closer & closer together, then sometimes us distancing a bit
