Awesome! Nice to see a design that doesn't just use 4 copies of the same leg. Well I suppose it does, but at least the front and rear hip units are different. What I'd really like to see is 3-segment hind legs like a real quadruped. Even if the ankle joint is mechanically linked to the knee rather than using its own actuator, it would still give a longer stroke for running.

Are all the actuators just outrunner+single stage toothed belt?

How did you use a generic bldc as a servo? (own encoder + gearbox?)

Acutally, I am in cllg, and trying to attempt a very similar project, but struggling with the torque issue...(using normal servos here)

Would love it if you could point me towards any resources that helped you along the way.

(Thanks in advance, looking forward to seeing this thing running at more power :)
