I hit a must hit by for the first time last night. Playing Thunder Cash and a random display comes on the screen with a congratulatory message!

I’ve been stalking a Dollar chief progressive. I watched it climb to over 9700 must hit by 10, 000. Wednesday night it was over 9700. Thursday afternoon it was 9011. I was actually sad. Somehow I thought it would be mine because I was informed how they worked by you and Brantley. I didn’t park there and pump money into it but after it got so high I did feel it would be irresponsible not to take a swing at it each trip. Silver lining I did hit the minor for 470. When it hit I was so excited I thought I had it. I was happy with the minor and left with it.

Marc, as somebody who has lost over $4K on a must-win-by _Ainsworth_ machine due to chasing the MAJOR, I can confirm what you said is 100% true. Since then, that loss has taught me a long hard lesson *never* to chase any progressive, regular OR must-win-by.
I *really* want to try out _Mustang Money, Thunder Cash_ and _Dollar Action_ one day, however, I am hesitant and somewhat spooked... even if I put just $100 in one and low-rolled it all the way, I'm still scared to go on an _Ainsworth._ 😟
But I have to remember that this was a clear result of my own greed and undoing. That was simply MY FAULT. Yet the fear is _always there_ no matter what I choose to bet... maybe one day I hope to overcome this stupid fear. Thanks Marc for another fantastic video. 👍

Thanks so much for all your info. I tried years ago (maybe 40) the "Lion" progressive at MGM. Was surprised it finally hit in the last year or so. A really pretty machine as I remember. I hope they saved the machine so people could see it. I havent been back since it hit but Im going to check and see if they saved it. In those days you could not take photos in casinos. It says 20 years but I played it years before that. As have not been to the MGM in at least 30 yrs, and it was when I first started going to Las Vegas and I'm almost 79.

I always pick the machine with the largest progressives or maxed out progressives. Doesnt come into play much, but I'm definitely 2-3K better off this year assuming all the other spins were identical. Regarding the must hit by progressives. I do wonder who plays them after they reset. I always check them out, but so far havent found one close enough to the must hit amount to give it a shot.

Great video! I love the Must Hit By Progressives as a bonus. I've only hit 1 minor for $423 on Mustang Money 2, which was thrilling. I love the base game, so I always play it just in case. Playing them, while thinking of my budget, is always top priority not getting bonus progressive.

I used to think I was guaranteed that "must hit by" amount if I reached it. To be honest, the few times that I did actually reach it, it dropped. I know now that was luck and not to expect that every time. Thanks for the explanations.

I always thought if it was maxed out that it would be harder to hit and so I would avoid playing that machine. Thanks for clarifying.

Great video! We don't have "Must Hit By 8:56 " slots in the Northeast. None that I have seen.

One machine with the maxi and mini bonuses where I can't determine how they're paid out is Outback Jack.

There was a Dragon Link at my casino that was so maxed out on 10k major that it was hit 3 times before the display came off 10k.

What about Online casinos tho? Is RNG also reset everytime you open up a slot in the web browser? Or how does it work there exactly?

Just came back from our local casino Pechanga.
The rows of 3-reels were practically empty while EVERY machine in the Dragon Link carousels were taken. And people were quick to grab any open machine:
Do these regular locals know something about the Dragon Link games that the rest of us don’t?
