I think they should definitely be told to stop, if not make them leave. I personally find it very disrespectful.

Hate em...they should be asked to stop or told to leave.

So as a slot attendant, I give them one warning if I have to warn them again. Then I just asked security to go over and have a conversation with them It absolutely damages the machines and doesn't make it fun for anybody else around.

It’s the worst…. I was playing the other night and this woman was doing this next to me… she got up I went to play 3 of the machines she played had jammed messed up spin buttons. Sometimes I’ll say “As someone who’s worked in a casino I promise you that won’t increase your chances and you run the risk of being charged or being thrown out if you break it”

Absolutely, someone from the casino should tell them to stop. I can't stand being next to someone like that. Ruins my play time and mood.

The casinos should stop people slapping of hitting the machine. To be it’s vandalism!

it ruins my experience when i hear someone smashing the button

Yes I’m the owner of a mini casino in Illinois & our button slappers get told to stop it or they’ll have to leave. You get some hot heads. They need to respect the machines

Its doesnt damage shit. Casinos are rich for a reason. Why do dumb ass people spend all thier savings thinkin they gonna win. When the house always wins

I am quite shocked that someone that works there isn't allowed to stop them from acting like a maniac 😠 I hate when I finally get on my favorite machine with a maxed out major and the button is so stuck, you have to slap it yourself 😠

As a slot attendant nothing drives me more crazy then a button slapper. Then they tell me the button doesn’t work 😂 ya don’t say

I'm a former Director of Security at Rolling Hills Casino. My team has contacted several patrons who are aggressive with the machines. They are admonished, then if they don't stop, they are asked to leave. Sometimes screens are broken. We would charge the patron for the repair if was deemed not an accident.

I don’t really care. Is not my casino, so is not my business.

I totally agree with you on this! It’s bad for the machine and equally bad for us the other players! Very annoying and disrespectful and damaging!😊 A casino worker should inform them they are not allowed to hit the machines, and if you damage it, you pay for it!😊

A 24-hour ban for sure (unless they caused damage, then a lifetime ban.)

Slapping & hitting should be banned from every single casino. It's extremely irritating & eventually will damage the machine.

Yes I agree it is so annoying to sit next to someone that smacks the heck out of the machine!!!please stop !!!

IT'S IRRITATING. Yet, I believe that button slappers and screen smashers lose a lot of money quickly. The casino can just repair it and still profit? I'm not sure of how much they lose as the people sitting next to them is so irritated that they leave. 😮 They need to put up signs for these adult kids. 😂

Makes me angry for more than one reason. First of all, it's not their property to damage and it seems like vandalism to me. Secondly, I have had trouble playing at times because of broken buttons, frozen screens, etc from people who treat the machines like this. It's rude, disrespectful and obnoxious.

A tech told me that if someone breaks the spin button, it costs $10, 000 because the whole board has to be replaced. I don’t think casinos do enough to patrol and tell these people to knock it off.
