When I drove a mixer, I would help people if they needed it, especially home owners on a D.I.Y. Project. They really didn’t know how to work with concrete. The tip money I made was crazy good, and they really appreciated it.

So many people here commenting with out knowing this guy is a master at this and is safely able to do a 3 man job by himself without risking quality and safety

What people fail to realize for those who are syaing he's cheap, greedy, or dumb for not getting help...

Mike has employees. It could be a busy day and his other guys are on a different site working. Maybe theyre on vacation? Maybe its a weekend and he gave his guys the weekend off and he decided to do this small pour by himself. Mike isn't cheap. Probably just had a hard time finding someone to come help this day or he's spread thin because of being busy.

A hour of pouring, raking, and screeding concrete isn't crazy for a guy that experienced. Its physically demanding for that hour but after its easy to bull float and get on by hand and finish it.

Lots of people just assuming and obviously don't understand how easy that pour is after the concrete is on the ground.
