I finally found this rare alternative ending of the classic Ewok movie. As a Star Wars fan this is quite a treat for me and reveals the original vision of now forgotten canon star wars movie. The ending surely splits audiences and raises questions but I personally see it way more powerful and better ending for the movie.

Now that Disney has bought Lucasfilm there is a slight chance we could get this gem with it's interesting and controversial ending on a bluray someday?

I love the part where Darth Vader and Logray are lightsaber dueling and Vader says, "The force is strong with this one." Chilling.

Two things: First, this isn't an alternate ending. Second, it's a scene right from the middle of the film.

I know what that Flying Reptavian is. It’s a Condor Dragon. It looks a little like a Dinosaur with huge wings on it’s back.

Good example of 'go-motion' - an advancement of stop motion animation. Also used to great effect in Disney's 1981 film 'Dragonslayer'
