Generation number 4 of my UJSSM is stripping in the background, and its tasting really good.

So I decided its time to go big on this one. I want to fill up the "cellar" and start building that pipeline!

This is a super fast "low budget" video that I wouldn't normally put up on YT. I wanted to put this one up so everyone knows that these will be going up on Facebook more going forward

You're doing it right! Glad you hit that sweet spot, was hoping you would.

I was given this basic recipe in the 90's with very little info and guidance beyond the ingredients and concept. Took me years to "master" it for my own tastes and preferences and that's what I put online.

Glad you're having good results with it. Can't wait to see what happens with your spirit run!

Do we have to adjust the Ph?.... it's pretty low and I thought yeast like a Ph of around 5.4... mines about 3.2 on generation 4, will the be to hostile for the yeast<. Thanks in advance.

Being new to this and I understand this is an older video. I may have missed it when discussed but I don't think I did, but the stripping runs from the 1st though the 4th do they get a spirit run on there own or are they combined with each other. This would also include the 5 set you did. Do you combine all your low wines from the recipe or each on its own.

You mentioned frozen mash.. can you freeze your mash and use it at a later date?

Hey Jessie Hows it going dude? Im starting a UJSSM this week and am thinking of adding 6 or 12kg frozen sweetcorn and amylase with my 120L last generation, have u ever thought about this or do u have any thoughts now u have completed and aged it some?

Lovin the show. Quick question. What are you doing with the spirits from your first thru 4th stripping runs? Are you putting any of that in your wash along with previous backsets to increase the ABV? Or are you doing something else with the early generations of stripping runs? I am sorry if you answered this already, i didn't see it anywhere.

Have you tried running mash along with results from a stripping run? Combing them to get some maybe good sipping whiskey?

Great video...first thing..i kinda like the shakey better...secondly...man dont ever call anything you do crazy. Crazy is having an idea and not trying it. As an American i fully support the american style whiskey your shooting for.

Your not crazy in thinking heating up your corn will add to the flavor with out mashing there are distilleries that do it the same way

Short vids are great and yes way easier to do than the longer ones lol what’s your Facebook so I can catch those also? Not for nothing but even if they aren’t the best vids you should still thro them up on here also for those that don’t have an FB account. Your choice tho. I have both hehe.
