Orrrr do something thats actually useful like making a blue mushroom biome for Truffle or separating evil biomes to stop them from spreading. You could also set up a pylon network.

No teleporters, no potions, not the best reforgers, no grind, npcs in one big ahh house. This is a skilled and non boring way to play

Little tip: make multiple mini-towns to get pylons, and then set up teleporters near the pylons to access important areas in those biomes specifically

Setting teleporters for teleporting to different biomes is super hard, you need to buy a bunch of wires and craft the Grand Design. Use pylons so you easily get your quest fish from Angler.

Warding only works for melee, if you're a ranger you could do defense but also damage and maybe crit, for mage the best reforge is probably crit, and for summoner yes you can use defense, but also melee speed for the whips or just plain speed (we don't talk about mana reforges)

Instead of teleporters you can also set up a pylon network. Mine has been invaluable in getting around my world. It also has the huge advantage of giving you quality housing for NPCs.

I find it useful to have teleporters if when you enter hardmode any biome gets corrupted and the pylon there becomes useless

Quarentine the corruption biome, expand the hellavator, dig multiple others with the aid of the miner set, mining potion, and ancient trowel, herb farm, pylons, collect materials you will need before they are locked behind a blue slime with 2000 health, and enjoy a bit of creative mode terraria before the wall of flesh makes the game hard again.
