I get the feeling that Jeff was really nervous to be singing this and that Dean was trying to encourage him. This is the big song and I think has a special kind of aura around it for the band and probably now is inseparable from the memory of Scott. I would be sweating too but he knocked it out of the park here.

Jeff Gutt replacing Scott Weiland after his death was the wisest choice ever. His voice is pretty much spot on! Saw them play last year at Graspop with this mellow version. Gave me goosebumps the whole song through. Killer job Jeff!!!
