Master of Education is an education program which is pursued by the students after completing B Ed i.e bachelors of education. M Ed is also known as M.A. Ed, Ed. M. This course makes students efficient in administrative and institutional skills. This course mainly focuses on the development of teachers or any other personnel engaged in an educational course.
Most of the colleges and universities offer the M Ed degree course which is affiliated with one of the top statutory body NCTE i.e. National Council of Teacher Education. This body entirely focuses on providing and improving education related programs in the country.
Colleges in India and even Abroad offers regular as well as distance or correspondence course. One can enroll into the program, according to one’s requirement.
Eligibility: The students after completing their B Ed can get admission in Masters of education. Provided one should have attained minimum of 50% marks in bachelors degree. The cut off or the score may vary from one to another college or an institute. In India, there are the colleges where a minimum of 1 or 2 years experience after B Ed is also required. So, after considering and properly scrutinizing the requirements of different colleges, get yourself registered for M Ed.
