I used HA for years. Almost a year ago I switched to the CosRx Snail Mucin Power Essence. It's been great and doesn't inflame my rosecea!

There’s a Neutrogena lip gloss that literally I got before I met you Dr. ! It dries my lips so much and never knew why. Now I know (actually since I met you online like a year ago) so I’m not letting myself get fooled by the industry. Thank you so much 🤓💜💙💋

When i stopped using HA and products containing HA it has helped me stay hydrated and not irritated. With it my skin was itchy and irritated and so dry!! Thanks Dr I for the information!

Hu, Doc Idrees, i watched another video of urs on HA. I started using HA since late 30's. I also live in a sub-tropical climate where summers are super humid & our short winters are drier tho not very cold. In my late forties now, I've observed that HA works to make me look better in summer since there's plenty of moisture in the air, and during winter it's made me look horribly dry & unplump. So now in winter I've replaced it with a ceramide cream. During summers i use the bare minimum of ceramide cream as it causes pimples & whiteheads in this climate. (I also use retinol, vitamin C and gkycolic acid in my weekly routine) Thanks for all ur super advice doc❤

My skin was very rough and dry. I used cetaphil gentle moisturiser, almost every moisturiser with ceramides, and obviously spf 50 sunscreen. For exfoliation I used bioderma 15% glycolic night peel 2-3 times a week, but my skin was still rough and dry some redness on my cheeks then I started to use Hyaluronic acid serum and Avene cicalfate restore cream before moisturising my skin and it changed my skin alot.

When I use Hyaluronic Acid serums by themselves I seem to get more breakouts or under the skin bumps that never come to the surface but never any dryness. I cut out the Hyaluronic Acid and after washing my face, I use 3 products 1. MUSCAT blemish serum 2. Vitamin c serum them a heavy moisturizer, and my skin loves it. I was also using the diaper rash cream to lock in my retinol at night but stopped because i noticed my jawline and other creviced areas where bumps were starting to collect. Thanks for all your advice.

Just yesterday I noticed broken vessels on the side of my nose. I’m new at a skin care routine, since I began watching you about 3 months ago. I started nightly snail mucin with niacimimide in January and all was going well. I’ll check ingredients on the other products I’ve added since.
My rosacea has been dormant (not the word but I can’t remember atm) for several years using a cream moisturizer with rose essential oil but I’ve stopped using it, with the new regime. I don’t want to go back to red blotchy skin!

about vitamin C
you always seem to prefer THDA as it is fat soluble..
on that note, please talk about liposomal serums too (for eg - Ascorbyl glucoside encapsulated in liposomes) in comparison to THDA or other serums

I wash my face with a wash lotion that contains hyaluronic acid. Not long ago, I was also using vitamin C with hyaluronic acid, but my healthy skin suddenly became red and had pimples, so I removed the vitamin C and went back to just a moisturizer. I got my healthy skin back and will never put anything on my face without consulting a dermatologist first, or I will just search for your videos ❤😅 Thanks for all your advice and your great tips.❤ Greetings and hugs from Germany ☀️ 🫂💗

I stopped using a separate HA serum a good couple years ago, after reading & learning from amazing people like you & James Welsh that it's really a bit on a con & the latest fad at the time, as it's in our Skincare at a better molecular weight than these HA serums! Focused on what my skin needs actives wise combined with a solid moisuriser & my skin's far better now 😊

I can't wear a majority of skincare products thanks to interactions with meds, so hallelujah for a separate hyaluronic acid serum. I can't use retinal, vitamin k, estrogen, tretinoin, electronic pulse skincare, etc. My hyaluronic serum is the foundation of my skincare routine.

I used HA and it badly broke me! Not planning to use it anytime soon and would recommend the same to others, especially for my sensitive skin girlies!

I've been using sunscreen and vitamin C serum in the morning and good old Castor Oil at night. And my skin has never looked or felt better. Often old remedies without a lot of chemicals are the best. I suggest people read up on what Castor oil can do. I read that Cleopatra used it. I figure if it was good enough for her, it's good enough for me. And it's relatively cheap too unlike those fancy moisturizers with a bunch of unpronounceable chemicals in them. Sometimes the "old wives" knew what they were doing, no?? 😊

Hello Dr Idriss! I have a question.. does aloe vera benefits your skin? How?

I have found cerave products to be amazing for my skin and so cheap. I use cerave cleanser plus another cerave cleanser x 3 a week with salicylic acid then moisturise with cerave moisturiser. My skin has never been better. Ive been told it glows. Mind you i don't wear make-up at all. Im 56 no wrinkles, very few fine lines except when i smile around my eyes. Cerave is very economical too. Im in Australia. Not sure if its available OS

Doctor, I do not always go outside at home, and I am only exposed to indirect sun for about a quarter of an hour a day from my kitchen window. Should I wear sunscreen?

I was using a vichy ha serum thinking it would be beneficial, but last week i al of the sudden started getting eczema around my mouth. I tought it was my pregnancy so I'm going to see if it goes away if I stop using it. That being said the eczema on my elbows and legs has also acted up so I do blaim the pregnancy 50%

Dr, i’ve watched everything I can about sulfur, but the one question I don’t have answered is how often should it be used a week. The pink face wash bottle says up to twice a day, but I believe you use it twice a week. I’d love to know if it really can be used whenever or should I be careful?
