Great summary of Note’s potential!
I like to organize my notes into four categories:
1. Projects - I file notes related to personal, professional and academic projects that I’m working on under this category.
2. Areas - Within this category I create folders for different topics such as, finances, health care, kids’ school, etc, and file the notes under the respective topic.
3. Resources - For notes related to all kinds of researches, including web articles, academic papers, etc.
4. Archive - Once I finish any project or research and I no longer need the respective notes/folders, I move it to archive for future reference.

When Apple notes let’s me use the pen to highlight/handwrite over the top of typed notes I’ll be much happier! Until then it’s GoodNotes for me!

I take screenshots of youtube videos from left corner and add them to notes through the option on the top left, it takes less than 6 seconds and icanstudy any topic easily.

Although I got my first Apple devices (iPhone and iPad) the past couple of years and still consider myself an Android user at heart, I would say that the iPhone Notes app is quite good but Apple generally lacks in supporting the Greek language… all those magic tricks with the Apple pencil, recognising text, etc, don’t work. But for the (few) languages they support… WOW. I once photographed a table with rows and columns and it was 99% perfect. It saved me lots of time. But for handwritten recognition and all the rest of the magic… it is Noteshelf 3 for me. They support Greek.

I am thinking of switching from an A5 paper notebook to using a device for all my day-to-day personal notes. Currently I am thinking of buying a 2022 10.9inch 256GB iPad for use with Apple Notes. Do you think that this would be a good choice of device? I am not a heavy user; largely browsing, communication and note taking. Is there a choice of pencil with this iPad?
