INTROVERT: feels the most themself and most calm alone and can spend a lot of time alone prefers small groups and talking with friends
EXTROVERT: feels best and recharged when with other people and prefer to have people with them and enjoy meeting new people

neither has anything to with your social skills or if you enjoy talking to people. everyone does it’s apart of life. it just has to do with what your threshold of social interaction is before you need to recharge/whether you feel better after hanging out with ppl for a long time or if you feel drained and need time to yourself

i loved this video! i recently listened to a TED talk from darria long about having a "crazy busy" schedule. in most cases, we're not busy, we just fail to prioritize and it gives the illusion of us being crazy busy. she's an ER doctor so she mentioned a system of triaging. as a person that bullet journals and makes to do lists for myself, i started to triage to do lists. red for it needs to be done that day, yellow for it needs to be worked on but not completed, and green is for if you have time but no big deal if you dont get to it. it has definitely has helped trying to prioritize my day.

I've been watching your videos for a long, long time now and I've always been a huge fan. I never commented, but when you said that it feels like your negative emotions would last forever, I felt that. We simply cannot be happy and cheery all the time, yet we deny ourselves 2 hours of being sad, irritated or cranky. It's hard to sit with the discomfort. I'm very proud of your growth and thankful that you share all of these insights. Because it makes it more 'normal', more 'approachable'. Thanks so much, continue the good work and stay safe!

The thing you said about NOVELTY really really really resonated with me. I'm constantly trying to find novelty that WORKS for me but I always find myself fading away from it/disconnecting from it.

Small changes to necessary tasks is such a simple but profoundly effective concept to me. Thanks, Jenn.
