The fungus didn’t come from dinosaurs but rather from the asteroid that killed them. Both originate from the Yucatán peninsula in Mexico. Basically venom from Spider-Man as an angry fungus

Mat definitely needs to react to Greylock. Im surprised he hasnt yet, as far as I know. It's an absolute masterclass of analog horror, and equally as good at building a proper story and not simply being based off of horror alone.
