The Secret to Filling Knots in Wood - How to use CA Glue

The secret to filling knots in wood with CA Glue is simply using CA glue! It is super quick and a fraction of the time over epoxy. Typically I'd have done this with Epoxy and while that's still a valid method, it takes a long time to cure and when making cookbook stands or stabilizing wood, I don't have time to wait.

Here I'm using Starbond Medium-Thick CA glue which will dry jet black and is perfect for walnut.

Does anyone put eax or anything on the surrounding wood? My boards are already to thickness and last time I did this I felt like the wood was sanding faster than the ca glue.
