Love this soup! I needed to use baby spinach as I had a huge tub of it, so I substituted it for the kale. Otherwise I followed your recipe exactly. It turned out great! I’m sure with kale it would have been more authentic, but didn’t want the spinach to go to waste.

If you do not mind me commenting, you want to add garlic about 1 minutes before you add any liquid otherwise you lose garlic flavor and also you do not add cream to boiling soup as it will split. You add soup liquid to a cream to even out its temperature and then add mixture to a soup. Otherwise a very nice recipe and super close to original one.

hi, are you sure that a restaurant would use real heavy cream? the amount to have this and the cost for the restaurant, I'm not sure. You think I could use regular milk in this recipe?

Make it keto with cauliflower instead of potatoes...my family barely notices the difference!
