Ranking the WORST (And Best) State Flags

State flags in the United States are infamous for being, well horrible. So many flags in this country are little more than seals plastered on a plain blue background, which does such a disservice to so many of these incredible states, their cultures, identities, and histories! Now, there are plenty of terrible flags, but which one is the absolute worst? And, on the other end, which one is the best? So, I decided to rank every single state flag based on how good I believe they look, and how well I believe they represent their states. Enjoy!

Being serious though, who thought that Minnesota's flag redesign was a good idea?! It looks like a corporate brand slapped onto a banner.

As a Utahn, I actually do like my own state's flag. It's definitely an improvement from the previous one. The mountain fits since Utah is very mountainous, and the beehive is Utah's symbol representing hard work and industry. What the Utah State Government did to decide the flag is they held a flag competition. The top results were then combined into the flag we got. Utah's flag probably would look better with a straight stripe on top, but I like the flag overall. I even went up to the State Capitol to see submissions for flags. If you want to know my favorite state flag, it's probably a tossup between Alaska or Colorado.

As a Minnesotan I do like our flag, if ours is that low than Texas should be lower too

I haven't even watched the entire video and I'm going to say this, even though it might be controversial, but Minnesota's new flag is THE BEST right now. I'm going to finish up the video and then leave my opinion, but so far, good.

I ended up really liking the edition and judging your opinions. Don't agree at all (I like simple flags, just not that simple) but great video. Keep going man!

You could make Florida's flag better by replacing the seal with a star (google florida Sunshine flag) and replacing the basic red cross with a burgundian cross.
