Vaas is the prove that an antagonist doesn’t need to be the most influential and powerful. He just needs to be memorable and him being the poster boy after all these years says it all.

Joseph was a psychological villain he was always calm and very manipulative. He makes you question if what you’re doing is wrong. By far my favorite villain in far cry series.

Vaas #1, the reason every game after 3 put all of their focus into the villain's personality was because of how much Vaas blew up. Vaas wasn't even a planned character, Michael Mando interviewed for a brute named Diego and his Joker-esque performance convinced them to trash the character and rebuild it specifically for Mando.

the way joseph a good manipulator plus he's calm makes him a villain that makes you think "am i the bad guy" or "was he right all along" and i love it

The Jackal is probably the most cunning and intelligent of all of them. Not the most evil, far from the most powerful, but he was always one step ahead of the big power players and the main character. Out right at the beginning, he eliminates the threat of being assassinated by you, and by the end you’re roped into his agenda.

Tbh i agree with 1 and 2 Both pagan and joseph know the word's coming out of their mouths and never scream/swear and are not crazy and crazy looking unlike hoyt and vaas i am not saying they are bad but yeah also pagan and joseph look like they are villians but at the end they are the right side.
