Watched this video and it's very well done, but question for you, in this video you actually replaced the refrigerator defrost heating thermistor, not the FF (fresh food thermistor).

My local appliance repair shop as well as an additional appliance repair shop told me that a new temp sensor from Samsung and other parts are very hard to get and / or one must wait a heckuva long time for parts to come from Samsung to the US. Why on gods green earth could this be? Is this a universal scam among appliance repair shops to con a person into just buying a new refrigerator? Ripping off a homeowner for a brand new refrigerator is the only thing that makes sense in this case. Any thoughts? and thank you for the video.

Would this sensor (the one located in the freezer) be the reason why the freezer will not cool? Especially, if both fans in the freezer are working.

I believe you are replacing the defrost sensor. The temperature sensor is inside the panel you set aside. Just sayin.
