My mother uses her Vitamix to make home made peanut butter and sesame paste for all her friends’ families ON DEMAND because me and my dad like the normal store bought ones. Her old machine broke a year ago and she sent it for repair AFTER buying a new one. Now she has two working Vitamix machines. She always claim the machines pay for itself... I just think she like to make food for people that appreciate her cooking, which definitely don’t include me and my dad.

This hits home for me. I was at a Costco and someone was trying to sell me one just like that. I almost fell over when he said it was $600 bucks. No joke.

I had to look up the price of Vitamix blenders. Their top model goes for RRP AU$1634.95! It doesn't appear to do anything more than my commercial-grade blender and my bread maker can do, yet the blender cost AU$150 about ten years ago (about AU$200 these days, and it's still working) and the bread maker still goes for about $140. For a combined, current price, of AU$340.

Hahahah this is the most truthful SNL skit ever. Hahaha I've worked with those blenders for the past 15 years in the hospitality industry. Pricey, yes, but it will last you 15 years.
