I really like this video. It's basically a template for anyone trying to do anything. When I was younger, I used to be proud that I didn't follow a schedule, as if I were some kind of rebel. As I've gotten older, I know that I need to have structure in my life in order to be happy and successful. We can take your schedule (which is great btw) and tailor it to our lives. I started at an older age (70) and I don't have the mental stamina to analyze too deeply. Yesterday I won 5 and lost 3. I don't even know if I am kinda good or if they are not so good. It says I am 2.7% better than other blitz players haha, so THERE is the answer. 😂. I am 770 AND 1200 to 1300 on puzzles and I agree they help a lot. And yeah, Lex is such a great podcast! When you review your games, in addition to the blunders and mistakes, consider also the suboptimal moves, the inaccuracies: they are usually those leading to more challenging positions down the line, and it's worth exploring what happens compared to a best move. Positions are as important as pieces count. According to a French GM. Good luck on your journey!
