I know it's not available in Resident Evil 7, but i usually love to use MSAA even it's a performance hit, but it make the image native without blurry or wired ghostting or noisy effect.

TAA just blurs everything in motion because it basically is motion blur by using adjacent frames. It's a horrible solution for games, but okay for screenshots.

Can't compare the edges using a compressed video, this type of comparison needs uncompressed pictures like PNG or static video scenes.

I tested The Elder Scrolls Online with FXAA and TAA. I can tell that if you look closely, TAA has better textures, and removes the jagged edges around objects and characters. It's perfect!

My game stopped crashing and dropping frames after changing the aa from fxaa+taa to fxaa.

i usually go for fxaa... it is not so demanding and work well enough

how much vram memory do you need for msaa? I'm undecided between a 3060 or a 4060... thanks

I was surprised smaa performed so poorly compared to fxaa seeing as I have better experiences with it using it in reshade.

In my opinion, every AA-method looks better than TAA.

RE7 is rebooting PC after 2 minutes of gaming, when I set FXAA + TAA in this game. Very strange behavior. Tired of catching this error.
