What is Anti Aliasing (AA) as Fast as Possible

AA or Anti Aliasing reducing the "jaggies" that make things (particularly games) look less life-like and more like a computer graphic.

I think the easiest way to explain it is "imagine making a sphere with legos, that's where the jaggies come from, now imagine you put a lot of play doh around the corners to make the sphere smoother, that's antialiasing"

To me, AA is not very good since pixels on a 1980p monitor are barely visible, and it seems to make the game blurry
