Hey everyone, each episode I get asked questions in regard to my upgrade methods, so I needed to cover that stuff again and the reasons behind those choices. I have to remember that each viewer is not at my experience level, and simply do not know this stuff. One thing I wanted to cover in this one but did not was, Magic Item or Clan War League Medal usages, but I felt those are things are a little too opinionated for my taste. I can share how I use them, but I know some of you won't value the same things I do. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

Why does everybody think upgrading walls is so expensive to upgrade 🤦‍♂️ the OG players will remember how expensive walls really were, they're a shadow of the price they used to be

Higher level walls also play an imp role in appearence.Players will be more scared to target bases with higher walls even if that wont affect them much

Im a returning player, played the game 2 years ago and now I'm back on it. I had to say though, one thing that I really notice is how easy it is to upgrade walls now. They used to take ages to max out. But now I maxed out all of them in like 2/3 weeks just by dumping extra loot into them. (I'm a new th 10)

I followed you from th 10f2p and we r going equal now.
I like the fact that, till our troops and heroes doesn't max(not all) we shouldn't up. Defenses.
It helped me in CWL..I was in 30th position with max hybrid army and crushed my mirror easily and got 21 stars as well as the bonus😋
While my clanmates with higher lv defenses and not maxed troops suffered.haha..

Thank you so much for the advice Jo, I just started th10 a few days ago and wasn’t 100% sure if I should start my hero upgrades first or work on my farming OR clan war army first. I’m taking your advice and doing just that- upgrading heroes first, and also chose to work on my farming army first( since I’ve got medals to upgrade clan war troops) Have a great day Jo, stay safe😄

I think the think about upgrading the lab one strat at a time is the same as upgrading different decks in Clash Royale. Instead of upgrading every card, it is better to get one deck to max so that you have one good deck, then start on another deck.

I started watching this series when I first upgraded to TH 10. Doing walls to fast is a serious problem lol. I now am a TH 11 as of last week and I used sneaky goblins which allowed me to grab 100 LVL 12 walls. Ill definitely be using this videos info. Thanks JO

Heroes! The most important thing they usually carry attacks

Imagine a big guy clearing all outside buildings and joining the battle in the center of the base and tanking for all your troops. That's what I call a real hero :) (barbking is my favorite hero lol)

I hit th11 with lv10 king and queen and obviously lv1 warden. Not only did I max my king and queen while th11, I also did so before the majority of my base was maxxed out.

However, I did up to th12 once my king and queen were maxxed because I grew increasingly addicted to leveling my heroes. While my warden was only lv13. Now I'm roughly 50% thru th12 and my warden is just now maxxed for a th11., and while you ger roughly 3-5 books per month from cwl, clan games, gold pass, etc It'll still take about 2 more months of warden spam leveling to max him to 40. While my king and queen should be maxxed at the end of the next gold pass. Normally I wouldn't stress on it, but 2 additional builders working on upgrades may max my base before my warden, and I fear not being able to use the warden before upping to th12.

A lot of people haven't leveled their heroes properly, and experienced that feeling of being able to use max heroes for a month or two after maxing them out, and it's such a rewarding feeling because it's like maxing your offensive capabilities. You can sit back and worry about improving, and not crutching on the idea of "I may have 3 starred with max troops or heroes".

I actually upgrade offense first and heroes and i also just upgrade walls when i have gold that is not being used and i just upgrade defenses at the end

I try to max out defences and walls both at same time with only extra loot.

I finished my walls first as I had loads of free time during lockdown. I'm gonna get busy with university starting, so with them done I can just focus on keeping builders working. 💪

Just like you Jo my also builder's are stuck on 10 day long upgrade . So I farm a lot and my resources are also full most of the days .So I also use that loot for wall upgrades.
