Rob Ryan - Summer Evenings at the V&A Reading Rooms

Rob Ryan's highly acclaimed work is the result of the painstaking hand cutting of delicate papers. These intricate works are either sold in papercut form or developed as limited edition screenprints. In addition to his own projects, he has collaborated with and been commissioned to work alongside many prestigious names and brands.

Rob shared his working practice and experience of writing and illustrating his first children's book, A Sky Full of Kindness showing his original artwork. With magical, intricate papercuts Rob Ryan tells the story of two birds about to become parents for the first time. From the hopes for their unborn child to the fears about their own state of readiness, A Sky Full of Kindness captures the intense and contradictory feelings of an unconditional love.
