I'm proposing to put forth legislation requiring every state to have a "record fish story series"... Georgia, Alabama... Where y'all at?

I caught a 12 pound Red Horse from the Neosho River in KANSAS in 2009 on Nightcrawlers. We have fished that river our whole lives and had never caught one before and had no idea what we had. We put it on the stringer and called a game warden and he came down and told us what it was. Never did he mention it could be a state record never the less a world record. We didn't even get a picture of the fish because to us it was just a sucker fish no big deal right? Well it is a big deal, I have been trying to catch a record my whole life and let it litteraly slip right through my fingers back into the water.

Where I live in northern California there are creeks that are full of white sucker fish, and they are fun to catch. I catch them using can sweet corn, which is the same stuff I use for catching carp.🎣

Yo saqué uno de 13 libras en el río bravo.
Cuando saqué la red pensé que era un tronco que venía atorado pero no era ese enorme pez
