You can also export your models from Fusion 360 without having to open the web viewer, just go to File>Export and then select your format

Good morning Claas. I'm an industrial designer who uses Fusion 360, and wants to take advantage of Blender's rendering capabilities, so this series of videos from you has given me invaluable information to start. Sadly, when I follow the workflow of exporting *.OBJ files from my model using the Fusion Web application, the resulting *.OBJ file imports into blender as a single object, instead of the many bodies and components in the original model. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. - Colin

Many thanks for this video! It is really helpful. But one question: when I import an assembly, Blender shows it as one big object, not multiple objects. Do you know how to avoid that?

For the scale of imported objects from fusion, I've always just changed the unit scale in the Scene properties panel. Is there a hidden downside to this method?

When importing obj to blender its all in one peace, working on blender 2.83
What am I doing wrong?
In fusion its all in separated bodies/components.

Great videos, but when I follow the video, it is not possible for me to scale multiple objects. I import from Fusion, hit A, then "alt" and click scale to change the value. But then the view change! I have tried with CMD and ctrl, but nothing is change except the numbers, the object is not scaling. Then I tried with the Scale Tool - Cage, but that tool will not give me a scale value. I also tried to Join the objects, and then scale, but I haven't yes found a way to un-join. I hope you have a suggestion to this scaling problem. Maybe it is just the latest version of Blender that have change.
