20 years old, 2 failed medicated IUI’s, 2 rounds of IVF resulting in not a single embryo.
With how knowledgeable you sound, I am highly considering flying to you!

My first thought was this: Never hesitate to ask something or book a consultation because of what doctors will think - it’s not worth worrying about politeness to the point that you compromise on the risks to your mental or physical health. Don’t be afraid to be the annoying/paranoid/stupid patient. Maybe you’ll make a doctor’s day a bit worse, but not asking can make your next few months worse.

Natalie, thank you again for sharing your knowledge so succinctly! Your videos are so helpful.

I had a high AMH of 5 before my round of IVF prior to needing chemo for breast cancer. During my retrieval I had 40 follicles but all eggs were immature. At the time the doctor said that it's likely that I always ovulate an immature egg and I'll never get pregnant. Based on this video, it seems like a second opinion is warranted. I couldn't find anything on young patients getting only immature eggs but you mentioned that in the beginning.

Thank you again!!

Could you please hit on some ideas of what to ask for various points of "failure"? For instance, what should we be looking at when eggs are not mature, when they dont fertilize, not growing to blast, etc.

I’m 41 years old, they retrieved 20 eggs but only 9 mature which I believe they triggered me too early, 5 fertilized, 1 normal, 1 mosaic and 3 abnormal. I also needed a hysterescopy prior to transfer because of a poly, a week after my surgery they transferred which I thought was way too soon. Today I got the sad new my beta test was negative and I was to stop all medication, the doctor will call me when she get back from vacation. They rushed the entire process due to government funding deadline. This is what I believe. What could they have differently? What could I have done differently? I am overwhelmed with sadness, the worse part is I did this all alone with no partner wanting so desperately to become a mom.

I m 34. I have 1.5 AMH, done 1 failed ivf cycle. They retrieved 12 eggs, 8 of them mature, 6 fertilized and now they say none of them went to blastocyst due to sperm morphology. However the sperm results were fine. Requested embryology results, which I guess take forever to get. So disappointed, couldn’t they check it earlier before that failure 😢 Can the fertilization fail even with ICSI?

Hi doc, does multiple ivf cycles affect on liver function and increase liver enzymes? What’s the main side effects that we should be aware of when taking ivf stim medications? I’ve had 3 ivf cycles and now elevated liver enzymes، please advice. Thanks for your videos ❤

It’s been 2 years since my miscarriage and D&C and ever since I haven’t been able to get pregnant. I did modern fertility test at home and everything came back normal. So idk what’s going on. IVF is not an option for us we can not afore any of that and it’s very frustrating.

I did my first cycle and failed. Question- Do persons have reaction to the birth control pills? I had a skin reaction, my skin itch and then i got bumps as i scratch the area, i had to take puriton.

My clinic place my embryo after 3 days. Had 11 retrieved and 5 was active and the second day of sperm meeting egg only 2 went unto blastocyst and was implanted. After the failed Ivficis they said from observation it was my eggs quality.

I had two ICSI, both last year with 39yo. In the first got 15 eggs retrieved, 5 blastocysts one 1 euploid which we transfered in natural cycle but stopped developing at 6wk. In the second 19 eggs retrieved, 4 blastocysts only 1 euploid which I trasfered with negative results. What can I change to get more euploid embryos? Vitamins? Suplements?

My husband and I were told that we need IVF due to unexplained infertility. I am 32 and have never been able to conceive, we’ve been trying for over two years. I have tried OPKs and we’ve gone through multiple tests through the fertility clinic and all of our testing has come back within normal ranges. They want him to see a urologist as part of the IVF process but I’m not sure why he needs to do this if his SA came back normal, can you please help me understand the reason for this? Is it a normal part of the procedure for IVF?

Thoughts on being told FSH must be below 14 in order to do IVF? Red flag?

Yep, no matter if you’ve been called infertile or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.
