For this special episode of The Daily T, Kamal and Camilla do a deep dive into one of the thorniest issues in politics: immigration.

How much is too much? Are immigrants the reason our NHS is barely able to cope and there aren't enough houses?

Or are they a scapegoat for other problems? Are immigrants necessary for economic growth and give more to British culture than they take?

To answer all these questions and more, Kamal and Camilla are joined by Reform UK's chairman Richard Tice and by Jonathan Portes, professor of economics and public policy at the School of Politics & Economics of King's College, London and a senior fellow at UK in a Changing Europe.

They also unveil some exclusive Savanta polling on public views about immigration, plus share some readers' letters on the issue.

What a load of cobblers from this economist, try telling people that all those illegal immigrants put up in hotels that the tax payer is paying to keep at 8 million a day, how is that benefitting our economy and as for foreign students, they don't improve of economy.

These two would love to see the UK become less British through mass immigration if it means more economic units. They couldn't care less about preserving British culture as they demonstrated clearly in their self-congratulatory postamble. Vote Reform 🇬🇧

Maggie would be turning in her grave knowing that 20x the amount of migration EVERY YEAR than in her time.

There are two separate issues in this: - the erasure, or swamping, or dilution of Britishness, of the concept of - "the British as a people" - by mass foreign invasion. Swamped by people who are totally alien to our traditions - by people who hold no affection for the actualities of our history, heritage, or hinterlands. Of our 1000 years of development as a people.
And the second aspect is the threat of Islamic takeover. Something simply ignored here. The issue that we are all supposed to bury our heads in the sand over, the metastasis of fascistic Islamism within our country.

The Telegraph is utter pish. These ostrich types will bring this country to the point of civil war. Have no doubt. It's a tragedy.

We have 9 million people of working age not working. The NHS formed in 1948 has ten times more staff today in 2024. Much of the increase taken up by foreign staff. Before mass immigration the UK was the most successful country in the world. Richard is right.
