During World War II, the U.S. bomber aviation was a force to be reckoned with, and its massive contribution to the eventual defeat of the Axis powers is absolutely indisputable. The mighty American industry built tens of thousands of bombers of all types, from single-engine carrier-based dive bombers to strategic B-17s and B-24s. Not to mention the legendary B-29 and B-32: true marvels of engineering.

Bit disappointing that we haven’t see some of the real gems from the golden age of aviation come to the game. The B-47 Stratojet, the B-36 Peacemaker, B-32 Dominator, B-58 Hustler. So many beautiful airplanes.

American heavy Bombers are awesome IRL, but flying American heavy bomber's in WarThunder is so rough. The Durability in game feels so bad and the gunners won't engage automatically unless the plane is close enough to scrape the bomber. The b29 being at it's BR should be illegal

4:42 And yet somehow there's still only a single model of B-24 Liberator in War Thunder (plus the PB4Y-2 Privateer). At a minimum, we should get the B-24J (the most-produced Liberator) and B-24M (the final production model Liberator) with their nose turrets. And probably the single-tailed XB-24N prototype, the ultimate Liberator.

How to fix bombers in War Thunder: move all 4.0-12.7 bombers down 1.0 BR or more, make the AI gunners useful again, make bombers spawn at 9km, fix bomber MG bullet spread, buff bomber MG spall damage, and adjust base health as needed.

you should add the b36, b50, and b52, and give bombers a slight buff, and you should also add the b1. those would make the game so much more fun.
