Could a magnetic field be use to attract ambient electrostatic energy electrons via an aerial antenna connected to a capacitance plate/plates next to the field ? If so - couldn't one siphon off said electrons at a rate less than the collection rate and say magnetic fields can do work perpetually ?

Do MagFields DO no 'work' but Are close by whenever EM spectrum "work" is happening, like a complicit, "I'm just holding her handbag while she does the work" sidekick to electrical fields? They do, do work. Work is force x distance(displacement for specifics). The direction a force goes through is work. A magnetic force on an object does work by other magnets aligned and responding to the force and moving in the direction. On the small scale magnetic particles have a degree of alignment of the protons(quantum spin) and work can be done through that. Forget about it being a conservative field

Calculate the work done by torque by a uniform magnetic field on a magnetic dipole in the field region (like a current in a loop). Oh. So now you can rant about how this video was misleading, over simplified, and simply wrong. You ate too many cookies. You need to learn more physics.
