My biggest after sale cost has been accessories. However, except for the floor mats, the rest were self inflicted (ceramic coating, frunk opener, game controller, storage trays, screen protector, mud guards, removable license plate holderUSB-C cords, etc). But I enjoy adding capability to the car. But the savings on maintenance alone in the first year (oil changes, smog certificate) will pay for most of these (except for the coating, it was expensive).

Good decision to post on Tuesday and Thursday with possible bonus on Saturdays. Weekends should be your off days and possibly inspire new content.

I don't have a Tesla but charging at home in NYC is more expensive for me. At an electrify America charger I pay $0.43 a kilowatt and at home I pay $0.55 so it really varies.

Great video. All good information. I pick my model 3 SR+ up in Charlotte on Saturday. I built a 5.2 solar array last year with a SolarEdge Inverter that has a built-in EV inverter. So I will be charging up basically for free.

So far I have purchased the “performance” foot pedals. A screen cover for my central control panel. As you suggested…the sliding drawer, the Nema14-50 plug. I further plan to do a wrap.
I am sure other accessories will follow.

Took delivery of MYLR this morning. No major issues like panel gaps etc to report. They just had to use elbow grease to get rid of the adhesive that was in various spots including oddly on the inside of the rear window which makes me wonder if they had to glue the headliner in before I got there? Got my free supercharger miles from you :)

My home state requires a front license. I chose to get a “Quick Bandit” front license holder. This is not glued to the car. There is unit that is attached to the front grill. It is easy to attach & lock in place. It is easy to remove as well. There are YouTube videos that explain how to do the device.

Right now with the parts shortage they tend to total the car. Our 2020 model 3 went from a $5k repair to being deemed a complete loss after they found they had to replace a part🤦 Definitely get gap insurance on it and be prepared that if in an accident they have a higher chance to be totaled. Also right now be prepared to wait if ordered we ordered a replacement for our 2020 mid April with and original mid may delivery. That delivery was slowly pushed to mid to late August . Definitely take these things into your thoughts. We thankfully spoke to our Tesla rep explaining our situation and he found us a demo car that had around 350 miles on it that we could pick up asap but many people are still waiting to even get theirs. We picked our 2021 performance model 3 up a week ago thanks to our reps work arounds but just take into mind that they are super easy to be totalled and they take awhile to get once ordered.
