Only 10% to 20% of Americans aren't allergic to poison ivy's rash-inducing oil, urushiol. Rising atmospheric carbon dioxide levels are causing poison ivy leaves to grow larger and produce more of the toxic oil.

The most simple thing about Urushiol is its like car grease, simply use some Dawn dish soap then grab a washcloth and get rough with the contaminated area. Done, no rash if done within 8 hours.
