I have found that carrying a Zippo lighter in the 5th pocket works great to keep narrower knifes upright. I carry a victorinox or Benchmade Proper with the zippo and they fit perfect.

Glad you did this. I carry all my knives in the 5th pocket and constantly cycle through them when they feel a tad too big. A dragonfly and a leatherman style has been my fave combo so far

The last year or two I’ve enjoyed carrying the Spyderco Lil Native in the 5th pocket. It should have easily been on this list. The Chaparral carries pretty easy in the 5th pocket as well.

I love my manbug with a small lanyard as a backup 5th pocket. Plus a lot of Case knives make great 5th pocket knife. Like the mini Cooper lock or a trapper.

I have a dragonfly with FRN handles that I carry in the 5th pocket all the time. It was the knife that got me interested in pocket knives, and it's still my favorite compact EDC knife 4+ years later.

The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 with the cocobolo scales and the Hap 40 blade steel looks great..I’ve been considering buying one for a while now.Spyderco is my favorite production knife company and this particular model takes the already great Dragonfly to a whole other level..I rarely carry a knife with a blade under 3” but the Dragonfly feels surprisingly good in hand for being as small as it is

Some of these knives will work great for the 5th pocket in a pair of men's jeans, but probably not for most women's jeans. I think my favorite little knife for the jeans that I own is the Kershaw Chive. It fits in the 5th pocket of all of my jeans, actually. I have the slimmer framelock version. It's a bit slippery, but it sits more securely in that 5th pocket than in one of the regular front pockets.

i've been rotating the CRKT Squid and the Kershaw Agile in my 5th pocket, but have added the CJRB Maileah since purchasing it.
