Got a job at FedEx express after DoorDash started to dry up in my area. 800 a week after taxes is much better IMO. It just feels way better to have the security of a full-time job instead of being an independent contractor.

I’m so glad you’re back with the door dash videos ! Finally tried earn by time and I’m actually loving it. I do get a no tip at least once per shift but surprisingly I’ve gotten decent tips for the most part plus large base pay making it worth it for me, especially if you’re wanting to raise your acceptance rate to get the dash now feature w top dasher. Cherry picking may be over for me. Anyways glad you’re back nuggs

I wasn't sold by the Earn by time method because it was about $11/hour in my area and later raised to $14/hour with over half of my order getting no tips. But when I went to a nearby area, they started doing $17/hour there and had very consistent $3 to $5 tips per order.

I delivered to a doctor in a hospital today the next order was in a villa on a horse farm that looked straight out of red dead, 10 million dollar house easily. Both tipped 2 dollars. The next house was a trailer convert shack in the woods, he tipped 6.

Earn by time is for nights when there is long waits plus tips. If it’s dead and not busy I say maybe turn it on but take ur time if it says u have 40 min to wait wait the whole time and get paid

$2.43/gallon for gas is good. I'm lucky if I get anything under $3/gallon in MA (taxachusetts)
