This is my grandmother's favorite song. She always sings along when they play it in church. ;-)

I don't care about showmanship or this type of music, But he is so one with the kit and so tight, he doesn't need showmanship he is truly a master and I'm now going to buy his music. Sold.

Austin is insanely tight in the live setting too. He even went through a period of touring with a ruptured/herniated disk and still delivered nearly as tightly. Unfortunately there aren't really any videos where you get a good view of him playing though.

This is actually the slowest song of the four songs that have been released by Meinl as playthroughs, if you can believe it. "Into The Earth" is their fastest song and maybe has the most grooves in it too. Cymbal work in that one is awesome, besides it just being inhumanly fast.

Glad you enjoyed it though, if you want to see more, check "Into The Earth" or "Cursed To Die". The "Cursed To Die" play through has no vocals, so maybe check that one if you don't want any of these ninnies in your comments complaining. Or, check "Into The Earth" as bait to get them to rage comment and up your interactions. >:D

these guys are phenomenal live. i saw them last month at Download Festival at 1pm on a 30-degree day and they were practically melting but still nailed every song. as an aside: their bass player sat in for Austin on drums on a recent tour because Austin was dealing with herniated disks. it’s insane that there are 2 guys who can play like that in 1 band 🤯

I imagine the key component for relaxation is the huge amount of practice essentially writing it all into muscle memory and getting into the super relaxation of a flow state which can be synonymous with or actually is out of body experience.

He does keep the level of Zen live, and for a full hour set. The whole band is also very relaxed as players, as Will is on vocals.

The true genius in him is learning the sequence of strokes and to make it even more outrageous, making it all look easy, like a walk in the park- I take my hat off to that!

This dude was completely off my radar... that has been corrected tonight! Wow, that was incredible!

saw them live twice in the last year and a half, both performances were spot on by the whole band.

My mom used to sing this to me when I had nightmares as a kid. Brings back memories

Good for you not stopping the video every 7 seconds, and losing your mind.

Drums techniques still evolving. Love seeing new styles being developed. His speed is insane. But he's also extremely clean

Seen them live. It's insane. The whole band is perfection.

Yes!!! FINALLY!!! I don't think I've ever myself seen a drummer this relaxed and fluid playing at the speed he does! Even Estepario and he's pretty damned amazing!

It's funny that vocals are similar. Being relaxed is a sign of a vocalist that knows their stuff and has practiced for many years.
