Was privatisation a “success”? Really? Look at the state of the water companies. The railways are being re-nationalised. Why make a state monopoly like the National Grid, a private monopoly? How many people died in train crashes due to failures made by Railtrack not maintaining track - putting profit before safety?

Idiot - this bankrupt Chancellor, who ran away when the results of his policies arrived. Then as a Brexiteer, he lived in France and pontificated.
