Thatcher had complete belief in everything she said. It's amazing how powerful you can sound if you believe every word you speak

No she didn't sound like her. May sounded weak and tried to hurt the opposition like she's trying to score some brownie points. A bit cringy to be honest. Thatcher sounded confident and stoic like she knows exactly what she's saying and she doesn't need to put anyone down cos she's right anyway and she knows she's right. She just needs to put them in their place when they step out of line

No comparison IMO. May just seemed to be trying to score a cheap shot/personal attacks. Thatcher had convictions and always argued for the convictions, not to just make gratuitous insults.

Not really. From day one May did seem to have the conviction and confidence to be PM. See seemed to be more of a follower than a leader, and she never seemed comfortable in her role as PM.
