I've been flying since I was 16 and at age 19 flew around the world by myself in the same 1981 A36 Beechcraft Bonanza I still fly, becoming the youngest person ever to solo circumnavigate by aircraft.

Now, I'm sharing all kinds of aviation adventures with YOU! Ride along as we explore the world from the air and get a close up look at some of aviation's best flight experiences and destinations.

So nice to see my hometown Nuuk, and the fjords where me and family/friends go hunting. I study in another country, so this made my day. Thank you so much.

I soloed on Pearl Harbour day, 1972. I accumulated only about 20 hours in a Piper Cherokee 140. Life got in the way and I haven't flown since. So envious of your adventures and really enjoy your videos.

Awesome video... Thank you! I was stationed at Keflavik back in 1968-1969 and joined the Navy Flying Club. I got my Icelandic license there and flew all over the place there, including the Vestmannaeyjar islands including flying over and around Surtsey. I wish I had video of my flights up there... but all I have is a few old slides and many great memories which now seem like a dream. Iceland is a beautiful Country... I am sure it is a lot different now than when I was there.

I have flown many hours up there in Ercoupes, Cessna 150's and Cessna 172's....

Crazy! I worked for almost 15 years in Luxembourg. DIK, LOL, Diekirch VOR. I got my FCL(Flight Crew License) in Luxembourg. I used to live right over the border in Germany outside the oldest city in Germany, Trier, over 2000 years old. Now I’m converting my EASA FCL to FAA PPL. Living in Clearwater, Florida after 31 years in German. I’m former USAF. Stay safe!

Great video. To solve the argument as to whether a Bonanza or a 210 is better just ask yourselves this. Would you rather sit in the sun and look at the wings or sit in the shade and look at the view.

Single engine plane across vast oceans and the worst incident involves an SUV and a pile of rocks? Love this series! God bless you guys. This is an adventure of a lifetime. Thanks for including us.

Definitely worthy of TV, and better than some of the poor programming offered on TV. Thank you for taking us with you.

Matt. I am really enjoying this. I made 2 trips last year in the other direction from Tenerife to North Carolina via Madrid, Jersey, Wick Scotland Kulusuk, Sonderstrom Fjord, Iqaluit, Goose Bay, and Bangor. All in a C208 Grand Caravan. A mind boggling experience and your video captures the Greenland scenery SO well. Thanks

50 years ago when I worked in a garage to get big tyres onto a rim we poured a little bit of petrol into the tyre, let it evaporate and then applied a match (held on the end of a long stick). There was a hell of a bang and the tyre was nicely seated on the rim.
I've flown over Greenland quite a lot, though at FL300+, and even from there the views are amazing. I recall wondering what caused the pollution flowing out of one of the fiords and realising as we got closer that it was thousands of icebergs.
Of course, you are crazy. Flying anywhere in that part of the world in a single piston engine aircraft, particularly over a lot of water, is braver than I would ever dare to be. Although I recall a colleague who joined us from Pilatus when flying twin jets direct across the ocean was a new idea asking what we were worried about. He had 99 single engine Atlantic crossings in his logbook. Mind you, that was a turboprop. My wife says if it doesn't have a toilet and a bar then she won't fly in it. I don't go quite that far myself.
It's a good thing someone is crazy enough and brave enough to make such a great video. Respect.

There is always one. Cannot fathom the left seat not donning a submersion suit. Risk management.

This whole crossing was just so captivating I am now 100% convinced to do a pilot's license and buy my plane. Thank you!

I am loving these vids!! I’ve traveled the US in a new A36, PA46 and C182...plus our company jets before retirement. I have enjoyed every minute of this trip so far. I now putt around in a 46 Ercoupe 415C in Southern Oregon. Low and slow..open cockpit. You guys did an great job on the video and audio as well as just telling the story. Not to mention excellent airmanship. While the backseater

I was just browsing across your channel, this is the most impressive video i have found on your channel. This is the kind of aviation journey that aviation enthusiasts dream of. It must have been a breathtaking and unforgettable journey with stunning views and a sense of accomplishment. Hats off to the pilot and crew for taking on such a remarkable flight!

Matt, I have no idea where to begin on this one. Amazing for so many different reasons, especially the great editing.  I'll just say thank you so very much for all you do for your viewers and GA. Oh...one more thing...I've never heard of the wind keeping the gear doors from closing on a Bonanza. I rest my case!

Thanks for showing the terrain outside of Reykjavik. This brought back memories for me since I spent one year in Iceland at a USAF Radar site on a mountaintop on the northeast corner of Iceland located on the Langanese Peninsula. Traveled in a 1953 Ford station wagon from Keflavik to Akureyri in June 1959. Our destination was the Radar site in Langanese, but we were snowed in and had to catch a flight the rest of the way. While at the Radar site, we acquired 3 Icelandic horses - I was able to explore a lot of that part of Iceland on horseback using an English saddle — pretty tricky going up and down the small mountains. I was 23 years old and the experience added a few years to me.

I flew a Twin Comanche from London to Boston in the summer of 1983, when I was in my late 20's. It remains one of my most memorable adventures, this video brings back many of the memories. The biggest difference is the avionics, non of stuff in the 210 you're flying. The most advanced thing we had was an early Loran-C.
