The fact that this is spot on how old folk are when explaining the family tree makes it that much more hilarious😂

The louder our elders think out loud, the better they can put the pieces together 🤣 I feel like I’ve heard this entire conversation with different names.

When she reached "been dead about 40 yrs" I screamed! Family tree explaining always brings up sh*t that has got nothing to do with anything.

E J, you have got to stop this.I'm laughing so hard and about to fall out of my chair. I am a 75yr old senior citizen, and I won't be able to get up if I fall.😂Now I know how I sound when trying to explain the family history, since I am the oldest one left. You are awesome. 😂🤣

This is my aunt! Back in 1999 my cousin tried to date me and my aunt had to pull me to the side and explain that my grandad has some other children. She straight up said you can't date your cousin!!! It was one of my uncle's son whom I never met or even knew who existed 😂😂😂😂😂😂!!! YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO KNOW YOUR FAMILY 🌴!!!

I know a dude who met a girl and he invited her to "his house" because he knew nobody was home. He didn't actually live there and rarely visited. As they approached the house she told him her father lives on the same street. As they approached she pointed to the house which happened to be where he was taking her. His father's house! Papa was a rolling stone. How you like dem apples? No, I'm not making this up. True story.

We’re Mexican and my parents and aunts are the exact same! I’m always amazed at how far back they can go and connect the whole family 🤣

This was literally us just a few days ago getting the family tree together for the reunion since we putting the tree on t-shirts. We were ALL confused but we learned about some old school scandals and drama. That tea was soooo good!!!🤣

Since my great aunt passed and assigned me to be the family genealogy keeper (I have all her notes), I’m about to be this auntie at the ripe age of 34. Guess it has to start sometime…

This is exactly why I was in my 20's before I figured out that 2 different sides of the family had the same last name. I thought they just had family renuions every few months. It's also hilarious that she threw in the obligitary, random nameless, Indian. The only thing missing was to call him a Cherokee.
