Just bought this exact one today. Picking up tomorrow. Im not a blue color person, but it was just beautiful to see in person. So im pretty happy about it.

It sounds as if the car responds in a nimble manner and that's exactly what I want as I've driven Korean but have also wanted American innovativeness. Wow. This appears to be the car that I've wanted for so long now.... Thank you Thank you for mentioning that in your review!

I think the real good bang for price is the LT trim

Like flat floor when seats folded. Nice styling in and out. Blue color might be a bit much..I find 2-tone treatment to be kind of contrived and clumsy. No reason for AWD. Engine has a "wet" rubber timing belt running thru oil pan..sounds like a trade in at end of power train warranty.
Not surprised that it drives well..congrats to GM on building a more affordable, accessible car. More room, more utility in the Tucson or Sportage which I think are the small suv value propositions. Very good review..as always!! Also..needs standard cross traffic and blind spot monitoring..no excuses, please!

Another great review and test drive. RS is a great trim level. I agree there should/could be some areas with soft touch . Only item I don't like are 19" tires. 17" would be good for me, maybe make 18" an option🤔🤔🤔. Chevrolet is selling a lot of Trailblazer & Trax. I no longer have any concerns over the engine. Had a lot of concerns resolved with info from mechanics at my local Chevrolet dealer.

Can you do a review for the Buick Encore GX preferred AWD ?

Blue with that red trim vents and interior look horrible to me. Think the Tax looks better anyway even with just FWD but its a lot cheaper

Very nice styling in and out. Fear blue would soon get tiring..tutone looks clumsy and contrived. Where is blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert? Wet timing belt running thru oil pan is a red flag for long term durability. Fear this is a car to trade in at end of power train warranty. Like flat floor when seats folded. GM finally building useful small cars you don't have to be ashamed to drive! Falls short of Tucson and Sportage in terms of overall value, accomodation, etc. I thing those twins are the class value propositions..also possibly the related Santa Cruz "pickup".
Great review!

I remember when RS stood for Rally Sport not Really Small. Needs a 4 cylinder but nice looking overall. Nice review.

If one is buying and not leasing the 1.3 engine uses a timing chain where the 1.2 uses a timing belt and that is an expensive maintenance item.

To many gears, to many turbos, not enough cylinders
