Great review Ben, test drove both and went with the trailblazer with the 1.3 as it fit my needs better. The trax is good in its own right very stylish and a great price but I just didn’t like the low slug roof and the 1.2 left me wanting more. It really comes down to what you prefer

We got a Trax. We had no plans to buy a vehicle. But I fell in love with the Trax and the Buick Envista. The Trax was a better value.

It all depends whether you need AWD or not. If not needed, Trax is plenty fine. If AWD is needed, then Trailblazer. That’s how I see it.

Probably trax just because the 1.3 is an oil burner and the 6-speed over the CVT

how reliable are these cars in Canada? say for a 2 -3 year lease period? i loved the look and the features if the trailblazer, but only sceptical with the reliability part of it...

Too bad that the trax doesn't have all-wheel drive. I like the look of it better than the trail blazer

If you get the AWD Trailblazer you get a 9 speed automatic

Trax is a steal 24k is very good for that u get nothing in a base corolla and that is 24k so. Only if Trax had awd it would have been unbeatable it has heated seats and heated stearing wheel

The Trax looks way better, at the minimum it should have the 1.3 engine and optioned with AWD.
