WHO AM I?
My name is Mignon Cobra and I make minimalist videos. I used to be a shopalic and waste ALL my money on just buying more things, because I wasn't living a fulfilling life. I was unhappy and broke.

Now I help my COBRA BABIES stop being so materialistic, buy less but buy better and have a healthier relationship with themselves and money. If that sounds good to you, come along for the ride!

Let's get it, let's go!

i think the story arch is that extreme minimalism is a chapter in younger years. the extreme minimalism can help with extreme budgeting (like a student who's paying for their own education). or having less stuff is more practical because you might only live somewhere for a year.
when we get to the stage of having a long(er) term home & more income, why not invest in some comforts? luckily, because of the previous chapter, we'll always carry the mindfulness of consumption & not take the luxuries for granted ♥️

Hey there my handsome and pretty little cobras! The only constant in life is change. My minimalism has changed a lot in recent years, especially since my year of abundance. I wasn't sure where I was in my minimalism, especially because it doesn't fit the "minimalism" box as much anymore. I want and dream of more and I think I have recently found my happier place in minimalism. I am not extreme anymore and I have made space for things that make me happy, even if I am no longer following dogmatic minimalism just for the sake of philosophy.

Comment down below where are you in your own minimalism journey! Does this resonate with you or are you on a minimizing and decluttering journey?

I love the word "nuance" and I'm letting it take protagonism in my 30s, cause yeah, maybe in my 20s I needed the extremes but now I get that it's not a sustainable thing to do long term.
