Shevron Window Sox Review - Ventilation & Insect Protection for Sleeping in Your Car

Reviewing Shevron Window Sox after 12 months of daily use while sleeping in my car. They are great at providing ventilation eliminating condensation, protecting from mosquitoes and midges, and providing interior shade. A necessity for touring Australia if car camping. Each sock is custom made to fit a specific vehicle and model year. I have a pair to suit Land Rover Defender rear doors.

Used to use these so the dog in the back of the wagon had more air without being too windy, while we drive as the ultrafine mesh does obstruct airflow. Great accessory though, simply good!

You get what you pay for.. These are 60 AUD but you can see how they have lasted through the harshest conditions whereas the 20$ on amazon sun fade after a couple months.
It's a shame everyone ripped the original off, perhaps they didn't protect their IP properly.
Anyway the custom fit just seals the deal, going to purchase a set for my MG HS Suv right now. Cheers for the vid! I'm also touring Australia by car, will be beginning the journey soon.

Window Sox are a great addition to your vehicle kit if sleeping inside your car while touring. With the two layers of fine mesh nothing that bites, flies or crawls can get inside. In summer, I must open the rear door as well to get sufficient air flow, where I use a mosquito net.

I saw these for the first time only a couple of weeks ago and thought they'd by ideal for my Subaru Outback. Only problem is, my windows, both front and rear, are frameless. :( Back to the drawing board for me. I found they rubbed on the window glass if left on, and made it like frosted. I wouldn’t leave them on.
