9th & 10th Amendments | Bill of Rights

When the Constitution was drafted, sovereign states were agreeing to unite into a federal government, a partnership, not a government that would rule everything. The Ninth and Tenth Amendments of the Bill of Rights embody the essence of the Constitution that limits the power of the federal government. The 9th Amendment guarantees the many other rights not specified in the Constitution and the 10th states that any power not granted to the federal government belongs to the states or to the people. The only way to restore our Rights is by enough people understanding them, appreciating them, and demanding that those in government adhere to them.

I was recently threatened with jail, when I refused to wear a mask in public. I told 5-10 people, who were overhearing, that I would not give up my 1st. amendment rights for an unconstitutional executive order. after many murmurs of approval, the sheriff let me go!

Therein lies the problem, within the 14th Amendment, the federal government inserted a "necessary and proper" clause, which gives the federal government the right to do whatever it feels to be "necessary and proper" to conserve the State of the Union. I believe, as well as many others, that the Fourteenth Amendment's improper ratification, was the true cause of the Civil War.
